In a major step toward promoting higher education, the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore has established a new extension in Model Town: the Institute of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Cybersecurity. The institute was officially inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Dr. Shahid Munir. This extension will operate under the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. A welcome ceremony was also held for students of the institute’s first academic session.

Addressing the students, Dr. Shahid Munir stated that the institute will not only provide high- quality education in cutting-edge fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, and Data Science, but will also offer modern laboratories, research centers, industry partnerships, and opportunities for hands-on projects.
