University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with DS Group of Companies (Pvt.) Ltd. The purpose of this agreement was to improve, broaden, and strengthen academia-industry linkages, to develop linkage for research, innovation, and corporate training, to optimize the utilization and further strengthening of laboratory facilities, to enhance the educational experience of students through industry visits, workshops, seminars, and conferences, to provide job placement, and financial support for final year project of students. Vice Chancellor UET Lahore Prof. Dr. Habib Ur Rehman and Chief Executive Officer DSG Energy signed the MoU in the presence of Dean Faculty of Electrical Engineering Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shoaib, Director University Advancement and  External Linkages Dr. Muhammad Shafique, Registrar UET Muhammad Asif and Chief Marketing Officer DSG Energy Nazifa Fatima.
