UET and TEVTA Join Hands to Empower Youth with Modern IT Skills
Vice Chancellor of University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, met with the Chief Operating Officer of the Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA), Meher Shahid Zaman Lak. The meeting involved an in-depth discussion on mutual cooperation in the field of technical training and the promotion of modern computer skills in the country.
During the meeting, both institutions agreed to jointly launch programs aimed at equipping youth with modern IT and computer skills. They also discussed integrating TEVTA’s ongoing and future projects with UET’s educational and research resources.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Shahid Munir stated that in today’s digital era, computer skills have become essential for every student, and UET will extend all possible support in collaboration with TEVTA to promote skill-based education in the country.
Dean Faculty of Electrical Engineering Dr. Muhammad Shoaib, along with other senior faculty members, was also present on the occasion. This collaboration is expected to not only open new career opportunities for students but also serve as a milestone in achieving national development goals.
