UET Lahore's Civil Engineering Department Revitalizes Classrooms with Generous Alumni Donation
The Civil Engineering Department at UET Lahore proudly inaugurated the renovation of two classrooms, C8 and C9, thanks to a generous donation from Engr. Maqsood Ali Kamboh, an esteemed alumnus and President & CEO of TSI Engineering, Inc., USA. With over three decades of versatile professional experience, Engr. Kamboh's company operates across five states in the US. Beyond his professional achievements, he actively leads a non-profit organization engaged in various welfare projects in Pakistan.
The event was graced by the presence of the esteemed Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Nasir Hayyat, as the chief guest. Prof. Dr. Khalid Farooq, Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, delivered the welcome address and commended the significant contribution of the alumni towards the enhancement of the department. Prof. Dr. Noor M. Khan, Chairman of the Civil Engineering Department, provided insights into the renovation efforts and recent developments within the department.
Engr. Maqsood Ali Kamboh expressed his gratitude and announced that his company would adopt the newly renovated classrooms, pledging ongoing maintenance and upgrades. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of souvenirs to Engr. Maqsood Ali Kamboh and Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nasir Hayyat in recognition of their invaluable contributions.
