In a significant step towards strengthening industry-academia collaboration and promoting higher education opportunities, PMLTC (Pakistan Manufacturing and Logistics Technology Corporation) and UET Lahore signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Wednesday, 14th May 2025. The agreement marks the formal launch of the PMLTC-UET Scholarship Program, aimed at providing financial support and career development opportunities for deserving students in the field of electrical engineering. The event commenced with a formal courtesy visit by Mr. Xiong Feng, Chairman & CEO of PMLTC, to the office of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir.

Campus Visits The PMLTC delegation toured various academic and cultural landmarks at UET, including: • Electrical Engineering Department – highlighting academic excellence and infrastructure. • Nano-Center – showcasing the state-of-the-art facility for morphological studies of materials, which includes TEM, SEM, and XRD, etc. • Library – “That’s China” Bookshelves Section – a photo opportunity celebrating educational ties and cultural exchange.
