he University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore successfully conducted its Graduate Program Review (GPR) on April 22–23, 2025, in alignment with the Higher Education Commission’s (HEC) directives. The event was organized by UET's Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), reflecting the university’s ongoing commitment to enhancing academic standards and ensuring continuous quality assurance across graduate programs. The review session commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by welcoming remarks from Prof. Dr. Amer Aziz, Director of QEC. He provided an overview of the significance of the review process. The convener, Prof. Dr. Ammad Hassan Khan (Ex-Director Studies & Chairperson TEM), addressed the importance of the activity, highlighting its impact on the enhancement of graduate programs at UET. Engr. Mureed Abbas, Deputy Director of QEC, presented the guidelines to the reviewers, ensuring that all participants were aligned with the standards set for the evaluation.mThe review process involved a rigorous assessment of UET's graduate programs. On April 23, 2025, the review culminated in an exit meeting with UET’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Shahid Munir. The findings were shared, and Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir expressed his appreciation for the Assessment Team’s efforts. He also briefed the team about ongoing initiatives aimed at strengthening UET’s graduate programs, underscoring the importance of these efforts in advancing the university’s academic reputation. The QEC extends its gratitude to the Assessment Team and the participating departments for their active involvement in the review process, marking a significant step towards continuous improvement at UET Lahore.
