It is with great pride that out of our Almuni, Dr. Zafar Shahid, has received the Gold Presidential Volunteer Service Award for Education services, by the President of the United States. This is in recognition to his efforts for the education of deserving students from under-priviliged parts of the world. His students have competed in competitions organized by Stanford, MIT, UC Berkeley and Harvard, and have won numerous awards.

Dr. Zafar Shahid is from 97-Electrical. Later on, he did his PhD from France and moved to California to follow his dreams. He has worked both in start-ups and large hi-tech firms including Nvidia and Facebook.
