Professor Dr. Habib ur Rehman, Vice Chancellor, UET Lahore, presented shields to Professor Dr. Muhammad Shahid Rafique, Dean, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Humanities and Islamic Studies, in recognition of his services as the former Director of China Study Centre, and resource persons of various seminars and cultural activities organised by the China Study Centre, UET, Lahore from July to October, 2023. The China Study Centre, UET, Lahore, under the leadership of Dr. Mehvish Riaz, Director, China Study Centre, UET, Lahore, has organised a broad range of activities on Chinese culture, history, festivals, calligraphy, paper-cutting, the infrastructural, economic and cultural impact of CPEC, as well as the scholarship opportunities offered by China to Pakistani students.
