The Higher Education Commission launched four major initiatives in 2020 to promote academic collaboration among the members of the CPEC Consortium of Universities.

These initiatives include:

(1) Joint Research Projects

(2) Establishment of Six China Study Centers.

(3) Holding of Joint Conferences, Seminars and Workshops, and

(4) Training and Talent Cultivation, which among others includes funding Pakistani and Chinese Students (Undergraduate, Master’s and PhD) to study in Pakistan/China for six months. Selected Pakistani / Chinese students will be funded for return airfare, health insurance, living allowance and lab fee (if applicable) for a period of up to six months. The host (members) universities will also be requested to provide fee-waiver and free accommodation to the visiting scholars. Attached are advertisements for your information.
