UET received 1025 laptops from HEC under PMYLS

Governor Punjab/Chancellor UET Engr. M. Baligh Ur Rehman distributed 749 laptops among students of UET

A ceremony was held to distribute laptops to students under the Prime Minister's Youth Laptop Scheme (PMYLS) at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore. Governor Punjab /Chancellor UET Engineer Muhammad Baligh ur Rehman was the chief guest. Vice Chancellor UET Prof. Dr. Habib ur Rahman, Registrar Mohammad Asif, Controller of Examinations Mr. Muhammad Zargham Nusrat, and Deans of various faculties also participated in the event. Under the Prime Minister Youth Laptop Scheme, UET received 1025 laptops from HEC, and today 749 students of UET Lahore and sub-campuses received Laptops from Chancellor University.  On this occasion, addressing the students the Governor of Punjab said that the distribution of laptops is a step towards the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. The use of laptops enables youth to get jobs, eliminate class divisions, and achieve many educational, social & technical goals and Opportunities to solve problems. At the end of the ceremony, Governor Punjab along with Vice Chancellor presented laptops to the students.
