University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore successfully organized Pakistan’s biggest engineering career counseling event "UET Open Day". Vice Chancellor UET Prof. Dr. Nasir Hayyat inaugurated the event. The event provided information regarding undergraduate programs under seven faculties at UET Main and satellite campuses, eligibility criteria, admission procedure, scholarships, and fee concessions. Applicants were also informed about the labs and other facilities available in the university. At this occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nasir Hayyat visited the information desks set up by various teaching and non-teaching departments of the university. A large number of UET applicants across Punjab attended the event. Applicants showed keen interest in knowing last year merit of different engineering disciplines.

Apart from teaching departments, Admission Office, Financial Aid and Career Services, Career Counseling Office and others students service offices also provided information about their respective field to the applicants and their parents through brochures, banners, and videos. Declaring the event successful, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nasir Hayyat appreciated the efforts of Prof. Dr. Asif Ali Qaiser, the organising committee, UET Administration, Departments' chairpersons and student volunteers for organizing such a successful event with excellent arrangements.
