One Day International Symposium on Mysteries of Quantum Mechanics was organized by the Department of Physics at the Seminar Hall of Transportation Engineering Department, University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore. The guest of Honor of the symposium was Prof. Dr. Muhammad Suhail Zubairi, (Sitare-e-Imtiaz and Hilal-e-Imtiaaz). Currently, he is a distinguished Professor and holder of the Munnelyn-Heep chair in Quantum Optics, at Texas A&M University USA. Prof. Dr. Anwar Latif, being a chief organizer and Chairperson, of the Physics Department gave a welcome address to a huge number of esteemed participants including Prof. Dr. Mushtaq, Chairman Department of Mathematics, and Prof. Dr. Waqar, Director, Al- Khawarzmi Institute of UET, other respectable faculty members and large number of students. The guest speaker comprehensively described the impact and consequences of Quantum Mechanics to understand the mysteries of the universe and enlighten upon the role of different scientists in the advancement of Quantum Mechanics. The symposium was concluded by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shahid Rafique, Dean Faculty of Natural Sciences, Humanities & Islamic Studies, UET, Lahore, patron in chief of the symposium with a note of thanks and appreciation to our guests, participants, and whole organizing team.
