A very informative seminar, titled “From Space Missions to Space Explorations” was organized at Transportation Hall, UET, Lahore under the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Humanities, and Islamic Studies. Mr. Mansoor Ahmed now working as NASA emeritus was the resource person. He retired from NASA Goddard Space Flight Center Greenbelt, Maryland USA where he worked as Associate Director of the Astrophysics Project Division as well as Program Manager for the Physics of the Cosmos Program and Cosmic Origin Program. The guest speaker shared his observations and experience regarding enhancement in knowledge of astronomy using Hubble Space Telescope (HST) and James Web Space Telescope. The future challenges and mysteries related to the Universe Working, Big Bang Evolution, and Life beyond earth were enlightened comprehensively. The Dean faculty of Natural Sciences, Humanities, and Islamic Studies Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shahid Rafique, Chairman Physics Department Prof. Dr. Anwar Latif, Chairman Mathematics Department Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad, Chairman Islamic Studies Department Prof. Dr. Mahammad Shahbaz, and a large number of Faculty Members along with PhD, undergraduate and postgraduate students participated in the seminar. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shahid Rafique, Dean Faculty of Natural Sciences, Humanities, and Islamic Studies concluded the session and paid his thanks to all the participants, especially the guest speaker, Mr. Mansoor Ahmed.
