We are thrilled to share a glimpse of the recent happenings at the Department of Product and Industrial Design, UET, Lahore

The industrial Guests Mr. Anas Khalid (Sr. QA Analyst) and Mr. Baber Saeed (Sr. QA Analyst) were invited by Subject Teacher Ms. Aiman Amjad, to share their valuable knowledge with the students on the subject of UX Design. The Chairman Dr. Atif Bilal Aslam and the faculty members greeted them and thanked our esteemed guests for their time. The Day consisted of two modules as follows:

Guest Lectures: Our students had the privilege of attending insightful guest lectures that covered key topics in the dynamic world of product and industrial design. From diving into Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) to exploring the differences between Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Test Life Cycle (STLC), the sessions were a deep dive into the industry's vital aspects. The comparison of AGILE vs Scrum and an overview of various testing types provided our students with a holistic understanding of real-world design challenges.

Project Evaluation – User Experience Design: In the culmination of their academic journey, our final-year students underwent project evaluations, focusing on the critical domain of User Experience (UX) Design. These evaluations showcased an impressive array of creativity, innovation, and user-centric design principles. From wireframes to prototypes, our students demonstrated their prowess in crafting designs that not only look good but also prioritize seamless user experiences.
