Dr. Ayesha Batool, a UK-based Architect and Sustainability Advisor, graced the Department of Product and Industrial Design by delivering a guest lecture on ‘High-Performance Buildings’ to the undergraduate and postgraduate students. Graduating from NCA Lahore in 2009, not only did she receive a Gold Medal, Principal's Honour award, Mehdi Ali Mirza Award, and Bhai Ram Singh Award, but she also pursued research on the environmental performance of vernacular architecture at the prestigious University of Oregon as a Fulbright Scholar. Her talk covered the topics of design sustainability and energy efficiency in built-up structures. She also introduced the BREEAM assessment model for certification of the building's efficiency. The interactive session was attended by the students with great interest. The Chairman Dr.-Ing.
