UET stands with the Armed Forces of Pakistan — Says Vice Chancellor 

An Izhar e Tashakur rally was held at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore led by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir to mark the victory in Operation Bunyan al Marsoos. The rally began at the university's central mosque and concluded at Library Chowk. A large number of teachers, students, and staff participated in the rally, carrying placards and banners with pro-army slogans.

Addressing the participants of the rally, Vice Chancellor Dr. Shahid Munir stated that UET's faculty, students, and staff stand shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan Armed Forces, and the entire nation is united in the defense of the country's sovereignty. He emphasized that the nation is proud of the sacrifices made by the military.

He added that UET would support the armed forces through advancements in science and technology — combining Jihad by knowledge (Jihad bil-ilm) with Jihad by the sword (Jihad bis-saif). “The world can only be conquered through technological superiority, and enemies can only be defeated by it,” he said.

He further stated, “Today, we bow before Allah in gratitude for this success, achieved through His special support.” After the Friday prayers, special supplications and prayers of gratitude were offered. Participants of the rally also held national flags and chanted slogans of "Long live Pakistan." The rally also featured chants against Indian aggression, with participants expressing strong support for the military's befitting response to hostile actions.
