The Department of Mathematics University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore organized an International Seminar on Recent Trends in Applied Mathematics. The purpose of this seminar was to bring together the researchers who are working in different areas of Applied Mathematics. The worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Habib-Ur-Rehman was the chief guest. The Chairman Department of Mathematics Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mushtaq and Dean Faculty of Natural Sciences, Humanities and Islamic Studies Prof. Dr. Shahid Rafiq welcomed all the participants. Deans of all faculties, Chairpersons of different departments and large number of students attended the seminar. Mr. Muhammad Nawaz from RMIT university Australia and author of the Nawaz, Enscore, Ham (NEH) was the guest speaker who talked about the applications of mathematics in different areas of science and engineering. At the end of seminar Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Habib-Ur-Rehman presented the souvenirs to the speaker and appreciated the efforts of organizing team.
