The Faisalabad sub-section of IEEE organizes IEEE FSWYC on annual basis to bring closer the students, professionals and women in engineering in order to exchange knowledge and to enhance technical and education abilities in Faisalabad region. Fortunately, this year the Department of Electrical, Electronics & Telecom Engineering was honored to host this Congress at UET Faisalabad with the efforts of IEEE UET Faisalabad Branch. The congress was attended by students, industrialists and Educated elite from Faisalabad region. The attendees of the Congress were distributed “goodies bags”, “souvenir shields” and “certificates”. The industries of Faisalabad region established their stalls at Faisalabad Campus and offered various internships/jobs/placements to our Campus and other Universities students. The food stalls were also arranged on this occasion for the refreshment of guests and students. Ms. Sobia Aqeel, executive member of Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FCCI) was our Chief Guest on this occasion and she expressed her desire to support the Department in future to organize such educational activities.
