Department of City and Regional Planning (CRP) University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Al-Kabir Town Lahore for cooperation in the broad areas of Urban and Regional Planning, Housing and Urban Development, Urban Regeneration and Revitalization, Real Estate Planning and Management, Exchange of Resource Persons, Researchers, and Faculty for Education, Training, and Research.

Vice Chancellor UET Lahore Prof. Dr. Habib-ur-Rehman and Chairman Al-Kabir Town Ch. Aurangzeb signed the documents in the presence of representatives of both parties including Dean Faculty of Architecture and Planning Prof. Dr. Rizwan Hameed, Dean Faculty of Electrical Engineering Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shoaib, Chairman CRP Department Prof. Dr. Shaker Mahmood Mayo, Professor CRP Department Dr. Ijaz Ahmad, Registrar Muhammad Asif, Director University Advancement and External Linkages Dr. Muhammad Shafique, Mr. Zia Ullah Anjum Bodla and three senior managers of Al-Kabir Town.
