A comprehensive 4-days training for PEVs on Outcome Based Education and Assessment System (OBE/OBA) as per PEC accreditation manual 2019 was held at UET, Lahore Main Campus in coloration with PEC. Dr. Saeed ur Rehman, Dr. Baber Saeed, Dr. Hassan Mahmood Khan was the resource persons. 35 numbers of senior academicians from all across the Punjab has participated. Prof. Dr. Naveed Ramzan, member PEC governing body was the Chief Organizer along with Mr. Wasif Bhatti (PEC Regional office Lahore) & Mr. Akram Jamal (PEC Regional office Islamabad). Interactive exercise on Self-Assessment Reports, Program Evaluations Sheets, Group Discussions and Mock Visit of three departments was carried out in 3 rd & 4 th day of training. Prof. Dr. Nasir Hayat, Vice Chancellor UET Lahore and Prof. Dr. Abdul Sattar Shakir, member AMRC PEC was the Chief Guests in the closing ceremony. All the Deans and Chairmen of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Transportation Engineering Departments also attended the closing ceremony. On the occasion Dr. Nasir Hayat appreciated the organizing team and PEC for holding four days workshop and highlighted the role of evaluation process in enhancing the quality of engineering education.
