Humans are the best creation of Allah Almighty and with their knowledge, they can do wonders. Our thinking power leads us to venture into the realms of the unknown and through systematic inquiry great research work is accomplished which opens further horizons for exploration. To highlight the importance of research work in the modern world, and to hone problem-solving skills and to inculcate the spirit of exploring the untrodden paths, the Department of Chemistry, University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore organized a one-day symposium ''From Research to Recognition: Strategies for Publishing and Promoting your Work on the Global Stage '' under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Aneela Anwar and Dr. Iqra Muneer for BS, MPhil, and Ph.D. students.
The symposium enlightened the students on the nitty-gritty details of a good research design. Students’ interest was evident through positive attendance and during the question-answer sessions. The students and faculty members are grateful to the Chairperson, Prof. Dr. Farhat Yasmeen, and all the speakers, Prof. Dr. Aneela Anwar, Dr. Abdul Sattar Nizami, and Awais Ahmed gracing the event with their presence and enlightening students thoroughly on the indispensability of research in modern-day times.
