UET and Ittehad Chemicals Ltd signed MoU

University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ittehad Chemicals Limited which is the pioneer and one of the largest manufacturers of industrial chemicals in Pakistan engaged in inter alia manufacturing, importing, exporting, packing and repacking of chemicals. MoU terms include exploring the possibility of entering into negotiation, in good faith, to discuss future cooperation and engagement in one or more mutually beneficial business relationship for the purposes of inter alia learning, optimizing, and developing processes for the mutual interest relating to the current business. According to the MoU both the parties shall disclose certain confidential information including inter alia details and specifications of the services provided by the parties and the projects operated by the parties. This agreement shall continue in effect for a period of 10 years. Vice Chancellor UET Lahore Prof. Dr. Syed Mansoor Sarwar and Director Operations Ittehad Chemicals Limited Mr. Abdul Hai Usman Ghani signed the MoU in the presence of witnesses Prof. Dr. Tanveer Iqbal from UET and Mr. Sajjad Ahmad Khan from Ittehad Chemicals. Dean Faculty of Chemical Prof. Dr. Naveed Ramzan, Chairperson Chemical Engineering Prof. Dr. Saima and other faculty members also attended the ceremony.
