Vice Chancellor University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore Prof. Dr. Syed Mansoor Sarwar convened a meeting with chairmen and deans from all departments of UET. This meeting aimed at consultation on Summer School, Admission Process for Graduate Programs, Implementation Status of OBE, issuance of CLOs Transcript and readmission policies. Later, worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Syed Mansoor Sarwar expressed his vision about academia and administrative issues and future strategies. While talking to the attendees he said, “UET will play its role significantly in promotion of research culture and complications regarding administrative and research & development will be resolved. Furthermore, all delayed works will be done and completed as soon as possible. B. Sc and BS programs will also be improved.” All the deans and chairmen ensured their support with new vice chancellor. They appreciated his vision and suggested more positive steps. During this meeting Convener Admission Committee Dr. Muhammad Ali Maud shed light on the arrangements of a combined entry test which is going to be held on Sunday 14 July, 2019 at 10:00 am. He said 13 examination centers have been set up across the Punjab including UET main campus G. T. Road Lahore, UET Kala Shah Kaku Campus, UET Taxila, International Islamic University Sector H- 10 Islamabad, College of Engineering & Technology Baha-ud-din Zakariya University Multan, NFC Institute of Engineering & Technology Khanewal Road Multan, College of Engineering Islamia University Bahawalpur, Khawaja Fareed University of Engineering and Technology Rahim Yar Khan, NFC institute of Engineering & Fertilizer Research Faisalabad, University of Gujrat (UoG) Gujrat, Government College of Technology Rasul, Dr. A. Q. Khan Institute of Technology Mianwali and Quaid-e-Azam College of Engineering & Technology 6 KM Pakpattan Road Sahiwal. After UET entry test (ECAT) applications for admission in B. Sc would be received in September 2019. He also said that applicants must have to arrange for photo –ID like CNIC or SSC certificate or Domicile or Statement of Entry, in case “A” level qualified candidates, etc for presentation in the Entry Test Centers during the Test. Failure to present a photo-ID may result in expulsion from the Test Center. In this context all administrative measures have been made.
