Dr. Ubaid Ur Rehman Ghori ( Assistant Professor )

I completed my Ph.D. in Metallurgy & Materials from University of Birmingham, UK, in 2020. My Ph.D. reserach work was focussed on exploring the sub-zero mechanical behaviour of magnesium using in-situ nano-mechanical testing techniques. Previously, i did my B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering from UET, Lahore, in 2006 and 2009 respectively. In my undergraduate project, i worked on manufacturing of a tractor component made of BS-14 grade of gray cast iron whereas my M.Sc. thesis was on development and characterisation of polyester based hybrid composites.
