Muhammad Amjad ( Assistant Professor )
Dr. Muhammad Amjad obtained his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Leeds, UK in 2018, after his BSc in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering (2009) and MSc in Manufacturing Engineering (2012) from University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, Pakistan. He has authored 28 research publications in well reputed and prestigious international journals and HEC recognized journals. He has presented his research findings in seven international conferences. He has reviewed a number of research articles for well recognized journals including International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer, Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, Applied Energy, Renewable Energy, Applied Thermal Engineering and Journal of Renewable and Sustainable Energy and is volunteering a role of Review Editor for Frontiers in Energy Research. He has been a member of Scientific Committee of 25th International Congress of Mechanical Engineering held in Uberlândia, Brazil in October 2019 and IEEE International conference on Energy Conservation (ICECE-2019)” held on 23-24 October 2019 at University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore Pakistan. He is currently serving as Assistant Professor at Department of Mechanical, Mechatronics and Manufacturing Engineering, UET Lahore. His research interests include nanofluids for direct absorption of solar energy, water desalination through forward osmosis, solar refrigeration and solar thermal systems, energy efficiency.
