Dr.-Ing. Izzat Iqbal Cheema ( Associate Professor )
Dr.-Ing. Izzat Iqbal Cheema is an Assistant Professor in Chemical Engineering at the University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore. From last ten years, he is actively involved in teaching and research. He has received his bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Punjab, Lahore, Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering (with specialization in Process Engineering) from the University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore and Doctoral degree in Engineering with specialisation in Energy Process Systems Engineering from the Technische Universität Braunschweig and the International Max Planck Research School for Advanced Methods in Process and Systems Engineering, Magdeburg. In parallel, Dr.-Ing. Cheema has been actively involved in academic support activities/services, for example organised/chaired 1st International Young Professionals Conference on Process Engineering (YCOPE) 18.03 - 20.03.2019, Magdeburg, Germany, Founding Advisor to the 1st American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) Student Chapter in Pakistan at the UET, Lahore (2011-2012), organised 1st All Pakistan Explore Engineering and Technology Contest 22.10.2011, Kala Shah Kaku, Pakistan and as a Guest Editor, organising a special issue “Advanced Methods in Process and Systems Engineering” of the Processes – Open Access Journal by MDPI (Deadline for manuscript submissions: 30.09.2020).
