Dr. Ali Hussain Kazim ( Assistant Professor )

Dr. Ali Hussain Kazim received his B.Sc. & M.Sc. Mechanical Engineering degrees from University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan. He is a Fulbright scholar and has earned Doctorate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, United States of America.

He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore. The focus of his PhD research was liquid thermoelectrics, an inexpensive method to convert waste heat to electricity. He has presented his research work in various international conferences/symposia across North America and Europe. Further, he is an author of various peer-reviewed impact factor journal publications and has a cumulative impact factor of more than 30. His current research interests include heat transfer, energy conversion and desalination.

He has an association with various entities including Pakistan Engineering Council, Continuing Professional Development (CPD), American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Materials Research Society and Electrochemical Society.
