Ms. Mufrah Naveed ( Lecturer )

Mufrah Naveed earned BS (Hons.) Information Technology in July 2010 and MPhil Computer Science in August 2017 from PUCIT. During her professional career, she served as a Software Engineer at Archimedes Services LTD during July 2011 - September 2014. She also served as a Research Associate at AIM Research Lab, PUCIT from July 2015 – July 2019, during this time, simultaneously, she has also served as Visiting Lecturer at PUCIT. Since July 2019, she was serving as a Research Associate at the National Centre of Artificial Intelligence (NCAI), University of Punjab.

She has nearly five years of teaching and research experience at University level. She has also worked in the software industry for more than three years. During her stay at PUCIT, she has been involved in organizing several curricular and co-curricular activities for the personal and professional development of the students. Besides teaching, she has performed various academic-administrative activities which include MPhil thesis supervision, curriculum development, event management, and formal representation of the institute.

Her research work is focused on modeling, simulation, and verification of pedestrian’s group dynamics in panic situations using computational techniques. She has attended and participated in international conferences where she have been keen to learn and appreciate the role of computational sciences in multidisciplinary research and societal development. She has published one paper in the international conference.
