Dr. Imran Aslam Gondal ( Assistant Professor )

 

Dr. Imran Aslam is an Assistant Professor of Physics at Department of Basic Sciences & Humanities. He earned PhD degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology China in June 2015. Afterwards, he worked as Assistant Professor at Department of Physics, University of Gujrat. Meanwhile, he availed Postdoctoral study chance at National Centre for Nanoscience and Technology (NCNST), Chinese Academy of Sciences, China under TWAS. His most recent assignment was as an Assistant Professor Physics in Riphah Institute of Computing and Applied Sciences (RICAS), Riphah International University Lahore Campus, where he taught several postgraduate courses and produced 07 MPhil students under his supervision.

He has published 41 research papers as author/co-author in well-reputed international journals, and delivered several talks on Photocatalysis. He won CAS President’s International Fellowship Initiative (PIFI) 2016 for Postdoctoral studies at Chinese Academy of Sciences, and CSC Scholarship 2011-2014 for PhD studies at Beijing Institute of Technology. During PhD studies, he was awarded “Distinguished Student Award 2013-2014” by Beijing Institute of Technology.
