Academia and industry share a symbiotic relationship which creates an essence of productive outcome beneficial not only for both the partners but also imparts a major role in the economic health of the country. The innovation and research done in the universities attracts huge demand from industry. This leads to increased, diversified economic activities and market development. Not only this, the graduates produced by Academia are taken up by the Industry and also the Industry, on the other hand, look towards Academia for solutions to their concerns. To bridge the gap between two entities, the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industries (LCCI) and Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) organized a conference on Industry-Academia linkage to enhance the collaboration between the two streams. Students of University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore (UET) from different departments also presented their posters of their final-year projects.
