Foreign delegates from Pakistan Railway Academy visit University of Engineering & Technology Lahore. The delegation comprising of Railways trainee officers from different countries including Egypt, Srilanka, Nigeria, Tunis, Afghanistan & Iraq visited various departments of university. Vice Chancellor University of Engineering & Technology Lahore Prof Dr. Fazal Ahmad Khalid briefed the delegates about the progress & programs being offered by university under different faculties. Talking to the delegation, Prof Dr. Fazal Ahmad Khalid said, “University is very keen to develop connection with national as well as international partners. UET in partnership with Higher Education Commission is providing number of scholarships to international students. Msc in Railways is one of the programs going to start from coming intake of university”. The academic matters and other research collaboration were also discussed to develop strong connection. Trainees visited civil engineering, mechanical engineering & mechatronics engineering department to see facilities & infrastructure of University of Engineering & Technology Lahore. Visitors hold the interactive session with students. Railway Academy Trainees visited Science Museum as well. Delegation appreciated the facilities being offered to students, studying in university. Vice Chancellor presented special souvenir to the honorable guests.
